BRIAN
HAGGERTY - Director
of Maintenance
After
entering the US Army in 1981 I was first trained on
Bell UH-1H helicopters and spent 16 months in Ft. Bragg,
NC working on an inspection team. I then returned to
Ft. Eustis for Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter maintenance
training. I worked for two years as a crewmember and
inspection team leader and then was sent back to Ft.
Eustis for training as a Technical inspector for the
UH-60 helicopter. I was then reassigned to the 3rd-160th
special operations at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah,
GA where I spent 10 years in charge of 16 special operation
UH-60L helicopters as the chief inspector and senior
crew member/instructor. I was then reassigned to Ft.
Eustis, VA where I was sent to a number of factory schools
including the Bell 206L, 407, and 212 model helicopters,
Rolls Royce 250 series engine, Sikorsky S76B, and McDonnell
Douglas 530. In January 2001. I retired from the Military
and have worked since then with HeloAir Inc. During
that time I have had the opportunity to attend the Bell
206&407 component overhaul course and HAI Helicopter
Maintenance Management course. I have held the position
of Director of Maintenance at HeloAir Inc. for 6 years.
I decided to take a break from the DOM position and
pursued a direction with the private sector of aviation
for just under a year. I then accepted a job offer with
Dyn Corp. Int. in Afghanistan as a Flight instructor
on a Russian Mi-17. I then returned after 15 months
there to accept the position as DOM for HeloAir Inc.
ones again. Now just at 30 years of Helicopter experience
under my belt, I can only hope that I retire here.
